Jeff Pratt is the Senior Corporate Safety & Environmental Engineer at Crown Equipment Corporation, since 2008 he holds the responsibility for the development of Crown’s Global EHS programs. Over his 32 years of overall EHS experience, Jeff has proven to be not only a safety expert in his own right; participating on a wide variety of risk assessments and conducting global auditing for Crown, but also is an accomplished trainer and educator in the area of safety and risk reduction. Jeff is the Vice Chair of the Robotic Industries Association 15.08 Mobile Robotics Committee tasked with developing safety standards for Mobile Robots, and he also actively participates on the RIA R15.06 committee. Prior to joining Crown, Jeff worked for Gold Shield of Indiana (now Goldshield Fiberglass) in positions of steadily increasing Material Handling & EHS responsibility as well as authored several safety and ergonomics articles. Jeff holds two college degrees; an Associate degree in Technical Studies from Wright State University (Design Engineering, Microcomputers, & Management) and a Bachelor of Science degree in B.A. / H.R. from Indiana Institute of Technology and is passionate about preventing injuries.
